Nest Capital is a small, private team with nearly a decade of investing and operating experience.
The capital we invest belongs to partners who earned it by building their own companies and selling them. That origin shapes how we work: founder-first, discreet, and quick to a decision.
We invest early: at the idea stage, at pre-seed, and at early stage. What interests us most is strong intellectual property, the kind of technical core a competitor cannot simply rebuild.
Because the capital is our own, we have no fund clock and no investment horizon. We will hold a stake in a company we believe in for as long as it makes sense. And when an early exit is the right outcome, our partner M&A firms can help a company get there, even at an early stage.
We don't publish a portfolio and we don't chase press. We would rather our companies were in the headlines than us.

Every investment is individual. The size and structure are agreed with each founder and depend on the company and the round.
How long do you stay invested?
As long as it makes sense. We invest our own capital, so there is no fund lifetime forcing a sale. If an early exit is the better path, our partner M&A firms can help a company through it, even at an early stage.
